A Brief History of the Most Successful Flying Club in History: How We Do It, and How You Can, Too
Flying Clubs like Plus One Flyers take an unbelievable amount of effort, both paid and volunteer, to keep them running.  You will learn how the club started with one airplane (Mooney 301) and has now grown to 65+ AC and 1500 members.  We will discuss the entire package including: the initial structure, growing pains you may face and how the club evolves as far as gaining airplanes, electronic scheduling, etc.  Each club has to find the "magic balance" as far as being a nonprofit dedicated to flying with lots of people working for free.  We will also help you navigate constant challenges that could come your way like insurance issues, safety and stupid pilot tricks.  Handouts will be provided.
